Meteorologists are calling for blue skies over Maricopa most of the week.

There is a slight chance for some rain today, but Maricopa will mostly see sunny skies with high temperatures hovering just under 100 degrees all week.

 

Today, the chance for showers and thunderstorms is at 10 percent after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high will be near 100, so expect a warm and humid day. Tonight, skies will be mostly clear with a low around 73.

 

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 99. The day will be breezy with southeast winds at 10-20 mph and gusting up to 25 mph. The overnight low will be around 71.

 

Wednesday will have sunny skies and high near 98. The overnight low is expected to dip down to 69.

 

Thursday is almost a replica of Wednesday with sunny skies and a high near 98. At night, the low will be around 66.

 

Friday’s forecast is for more sun and a high near 98. The nighttime skies will be clear and the low will be around 66.

 

The weekend forecast is calling for more sunny skies and highs around 100.
