Maricopa had 173 homes sold in September

The housing market in Maricopa, particularly on foreclosed or bank owned homes, appears to be on the upswing. A new wave of residents may now be moving into town.

During the month of September, 173 homes closed in the Maricopa area.

The lowest price paid for a home in September was $76,000 while the highest price paid was $290,000.

Of the 173 homes that closed last month, the median price paid by a buyer was $137,500.
