Maricopa hands out awards for holiday home decorations

The city was aglow with decorations for its annual Holiday Homes & Businesses on Parade contest.

This year’s winners in various categories:

• Best Theme – No. 32, 43492 W. Caven Drive.
• Best Light Show – No. 44, 37894 W. Montserrat St.
• Best Do-It-Yourself – No. 28, 44249 W. Cypress Lane.
• Residents’ Choice – No. 30, 42828 W. Wild Horse Trail.
• Best on Parade – No. 19, 44792 W. Paitilla Lane.

Also, the city recognized entry No. 22, F.O.R. Maricopa, 10428 N. Maricopa Road, for the Judges’ Choice Best Business on Parade.
