Organizer Gina Segarra explained how she came up with the idea for the biggest home party in Maricopa. “My car broke down, and I couldn’t get to Mesa for my part time job as a receptionist. I got on inmaricopa.com and started looking for people with home party businesses. I found 17 vendors in one day. That was just a month ago, and now there are 23 home businesses represented here at the expo,” said Segarra.

Segarra plans another vendor expo in early October. That two-day event will be held on both a Saturday and a Sunday. She hopes to hold two expos each year, one in April and one in October.
