Little League accepting last-minute sign-ups

Parents can still register their children for Maricopa Little League fall ball 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Seven Cups Coffee, 20800 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 115.

The registration fee is $40 and includes shirt, hat and socks. The required forms are: medical release, code of conduct, three proofs of residency and birth certificate.

Teams are: baseball/minors (ages 8-10); baseball/majors (ages 10-12); softball/minors (ages 8-10); softball/majors (ages 10-12); machine pitch/co-ed (ages 6-8); and T-ball/co-ed (ages 4-6).

If fewer than 44 players sign up for each division, instead of assigning game times MLL will hold instructional clinics.

Registration is completed when the online registration form has been submitted, all required documents are turned into the player agent and registration fee has been paid. If parents have submitted the required forms during the current year, they do not need to resubmit them. If they were turned in during the 2012 or previous seasons they will need to be submitted again.
