Residents notified of 2 sex offenders

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has issued notifications for high- and medium-risk registered sex offenders living just outside incorporated Maricopa.

Carlos Roberto Alsop, 42, is a level three sex offender meaning he has been determined to be a high risk for recidivism based on the results of a 19-criteria risk-assessment profile.

Alsop has a number of aliases, including: Angel Ibarra, Carlos Ibarra, Jose Alejandro Gomez, Miguel Roberto Gutierrez and Robert Alsop Ibarra.

He moved to 2621 N. Derby Court.

Alsop was convicted in 1993 in California for punching a woman in the face and attempting to sexually assault her.

In 2002 and 2003 he was convicted of failing to register as a sex offender in Washington.

Alsop weighs 190 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and his right hand has three cigarette burns and a web tattoo. He has three Chinese stars tattooed on his chest.

Jeremy John Loyd has moved to 53747 W. Wiley Son Circle. He is a level two sex offender, meaning he is a medium risk for recidivism.

He was convicted May 13, 2002 of engaging in sexual acts with a 14-year-old girl. He was a friend of the girl’s family.

Loyd, a 41-year-old Caucasian, has brown hair, green eyes and weighs 160 pounds. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and has no scars or tattoos.
