Recently you have gotten to know several of Maricopa’s residents through profiles featured on inmaricopa.com. Looking forward to 2006, a few of them share their personal New Year’s plans and resolutions.

Byron Fanning, owner of On the Go Bistro says his resolution is “to do a better job looking for the good in people.”

Lisa Cannon, president of the MOMS Club of Maricopa – Santa Rosa chapter, shares that her goals for the new year are “to get organized, finally,” and “to remember to breathe.”

Tina Etter, owner of Austin’s Gifts, has more common resolutions, “to lose weight and get healthy.”

Ron Casola of First Call Realtors and Casola Music Studios has some specific ideas. I’d like to have a house warming party in February,” he says, and “go Christmas Caroling in July.” His other plans for the new year; “to start recruiting members for a steering committee for the Maricopa Performing Arts Center and planning for the Maricopa Community Chorus’s first rehearsal in September.”

Said Kristen Carr, owner of Well Minded, “My New Year’s resolution is to get my puppy completely potty trained. She’s awfully stubborn and sneaky.”
