Cullen Teller of Maricopa placed third in team roping with partner Troy Nahrgang of Buckeye in the Arizona High School Rodeo.
The three-day competition was held June 19-21 in St. John’s.
Nahrgang, who in addition to his team effort with Teller took second in bull riding and steer wrestling, will now compete in the nationals in July in Farmington, N.M. He is a student at Buckeye High School.
