KFC again scored Excellent with health inspectors in November.

Of the four Maricopa eating establishments inspected in November, only one received an “E” for excellent from the Pinal County Health Department. KFC was found to have no violations.

Two eateries were given an “S” for Satisfactory, correcting violations during inspection. Both just opened this autumn. Honeycutt Coffee Express in Province was cited for not having proper date markings on some items and for having no observable test papers for measuring the concentration of the sanitizer. Spoon’s Café was also cited for not having proper date markings on some food items.

One store had issues that took longer to correct and received an “N” for Needs Improvement. The McDonald’s in Walmart had insufficient hot water generation to meet peak demands. During inspection, hot water tested at 105 degrees instead of the required 110 degrees. A re-inspection was scheduled.
