The sun was shining and a gentle breeze blew through Maricopa as notables gathered to celebrate the ribbon-cutting at the new Public Storage facility at Stonegate Road and Allen Stephens Parkway.

Mayor Nancy Smith, the guest of honor, acknowledged the importance of such services in a growing city like Maricopa. 

Public Storage already is at 20% capacity, reflecting the high demand for storage solutions in the area. The facility boasts modern amenities and state-of-the-art security features. 

Other notable guests included City Manager Rick Horst, Suzie Miller, Fritz Beesemeyer, Scott Fry, Victor Gilgan, Councilman Rich Vitiello, Councilman Vincent Manfredi and Lindsey Harvey. Mayor

Beesemeyer, a principal in Omni Capital LLC, which developed the facility, expressed his gratitude to city staff for its cooperation during the process. He acknowledged the challenges and lauded support from Horst and his team. 

Before the ribbon was cut, guests were treated to a tour of the colorfully painted, climate-controlled facility and lunch.
