The Maricopa Rams varsity volleyball team lost last night in Tucson to Empire, 3-1.
The girls from Maricopa were able to win the first set 25 to 21 but lost the next three in a row.
These final sets were very competitive with the girls losing 24-26, 20-25 and 17-25.
It was the second conference game for the team this season and their second conference loss.
Next up for the Maricopa team is a road game on Tuesday against Fountain Hills.
