Michael J. Kramarczyk Sr., 77

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Michael J. Kramarczyk Sr., 77, of Maricopa, on Nov. 25, 2022. This devoted husband, father and grandfather went home to the arms of our Lord surrounded by many members of his loving family after a valiant five-year battle with cancer.

Michael was born in January 1945 to Edward and Helen Kramarczyk in Chicago. He had two sisters and three brothers. After serving two tours in Vietnam, Michael went on to have careers in tool and die and in the printing industries. He amazed many with his artistic talents and creations. Upon retirement, Michael and his wife moved from their home of 36 years in Crystal Lake, Ill., to Maricopa to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Michael and his wife Christine married in 1970. From this 52-year marriage came two wonderful sons, Michael Jr. (wife Natalya) and Jeffrey (wife Karen), and five amazing grandchildren. Michael enjoyed time spent with his loving family, fishing and hunting.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service is Dec. 2 at Our Lady of Grace Church in Maricopa. A short viewing at 11 a.m. will be followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Catholic Mass. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Gary Sinise Foundation. This foundation has many programs, including some that support Vietnam veterans and housing for disabled veterans.
