Chipotle Mexican Grill will open June 29.
“We look to put our restaurants where a high volume of our customers are, specifically in urban and suburban areas with strong residential and daytime populations,” Chipotle spokesperson Danielle Winslow said. “We think Maricopa is a great fit and our restaurants do really well in surrounding areas.”
The restaurant manager is Dylan Walker.
Winslow said the “preferred generators” of consumers include residential, offices, retail outlets, colleges, recreation sites and hospitals.
Winslow said Chipotle typically employs 25-30 people. Check jobs.chipotle.com for more information.
“We are constantly looking for more top performing employees to join our team,” she said.
The Chipotle service format allows customers to choose the ingredients in their burritos, tacos, burrito bowls (burrito without the tortilla) and salads, starting with what the company calls “high-quality responsible raised meats.” There is also a tofu option called Sofritas. There is a choice of rice, beans and fajita veggies topped off with a selection of four salsas, “rBGH-free cheese and sour cream from pasture-raised dairy cows” and hand-mashed guacamole.
“Our ultimate goal is to serve the Maricopa community the best-tasting and highest quality food we can at a price that is affordable and accessible for everyone,” Winslow said.
Founded in Texas in 1993, the company describes itself as a “national sports-themed hair care franchise for men and boys.”
