“Sunny and 85” is going to be a common theme for the weekend in Maricopa.

Today’s forecast from the National Weather Service sets the pace, with a high near 85, sunny skies and northwest winds at an easy 5-10 mph. The overnight low will be around 50 degrees.

Saturday, it’s more of the same, which should delight those involved in the many Easter egg hunts and other activities around Maricopa. The projected daytime high is 85 and nighttime low is around 49 with light winds.

Sunday is expected to remain sunny with a high of 85 and winds 5-10 mph. Sunday night, the low will be about 52.

Monday is forecast to be just a bit warmer, with a high of 87 and an overnight low of 58. Evening winds will pick up to 15-20 mph with 30 mph gusts, and some clouds will move in.

There may even be some rain showing up next week.
