Four calls were made yesterday morning to the Maricopa Police Department regarding air-conditioning units being stolen or damaged at houses in The Villages.
Around 9 a.m., a caller reported the theft of two units at a residence on West Oster Drive. The caller said the units were stolen within the past seven days.
Almost 25 minutes later, someone reported an AC unit stolen from a residence at Pepka Drive. The caller believed the unit was taken between last Friday and yesterday.
At a house nearby the previous one on Pepka Drive, a caller reported an AC unit was stolen. That call came less than three minutes after the first one from Pepka Drive.
At 9:31, a caller reported a unit was damaged at a vacant house on West Roth Road.
