Terrell’s free presentation will be titled “Violence or Virtue: A Community challenge.”

The communitywide event will be held at the Maricopa High School Performing Arts Center, 45012 W. Honeycutt Ave.

The goal of this experience is to spark introspection and healthy proactive action on the part of parents, families, and community members to collaborate with the school in creating holistically safe spaces for all to learn and thrive, according to an MUSD press release.

Terrell will present “Cowards to Warriors” during two student assemblies for high school and middle school students Wednesday morning. This interactive presentation will focus on bullying and how students can become “agents of unity.”

Staff members also will participate in an afternoon workshop titled “Enhancing a Learning Culture,” which will include activities and ideas for building trust, honoring individuality and making a team.
