Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club’s Arroyo Grille appointed Chef Neil Magbanua to lead its culinary team. In his new role, Magbanua is charged with the culinary experience at Arroyo Grille and for banquets and catered events at Hemapda Ki (The Gathering Place), Ak-Chin Southern Dunes’s event venue.
Magbanua has over two decades of culinary experience in the restaurant industry, 13 of which are in golf clubs. His accomplishments achieving Troon Golf’s No. 1 Food & Beverage Operation worldwide for Bellatrix Restaurant at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, California.
Magbanua brings a refreshing culinary perspective to the restaurant. His goal is to build upon the current success of Arroyo Grille.
“By streamlining service, developing the team and incorporating creative menu additions, I look forward to providing a superior culinary experience for our golfers, and also for the people of Maricopa and surrounding regions,” Magbanua said.
