Bring your bike, scooter or comfortable walking shoes and be some of the first members of the public to bypass the railroad tracks by crossing the overpass. Members of the public will be able to enter the overpass via Honeycutt Road starting at 8 a.m. This is still an active construction zone, so please do not attempt to enter from any other point.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., and all attendees must be cleared from the overpass by 10 a.m. City staff will be on site to help coordinate this effort, but please plan ahead and follow official instruction at the event to ensure you adhere to these time frames.

Public parking will be available at the Maricopa Unified School District Administration Building at 44150 W Maricopa Casa Grande Hwy. Shuttles will be present at this location to transport residents and visitors to the event.

A “Park-and-Walk” option will also be available at the MUSD Bus Depot. Space will be limited at this location, so attendees are encouraged to utilize the complimentary shuttle service.

Please keep the Maricopa Business Park parking area clear for business traffic.

Temperatures will be above 100 degrees. Bring water, wear sunscreen and take proper precautions to avoid heat related illnesses.
