P&Z Commission holds sixth meeting on new subdivision regulations

The Planning & Zoning Commission agenda has as its focus both a public hearing and an agenda item relative to repealing the existing Chapter 14 of the City Code and replacing it with seven articles pursuant to a subdivision ordinance. This will be the sixth discussion of the new regulations.

4.1 TXT05-06: An application to repeal the existing Chapter 14 – Subdivision Regulations of the City of Maricopa City Code in its entirety and adopting by reference, pursuant to A.R.S. 9-802, Article 14-1 through and including Article 14-7 entitled “City of Maricopa Subdivision Ordinance” as the new Chapter 14 of the City Code of the City of Maricopa. This is the sixth meeting to review the proposed Subdivision Regulations. Discussion Only.

5.1 TXT05-06: An application to repeal the existing Chapter 14 – Subdivision Regulations of the City of Maricopa City Code in its entirety and adopting by reference, pursuant to A.R.S. 9-802, Article 14-1 through and including Article 14-7 entitled “City of Maricopa Subdivision Ordinance” as the new Chapter 14 of the City Code of the City of Maricopa. The procedures to follow if you address the Commission are: Commission requests that you express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether in the audience or not. The Chairman will limit discussion whenever he deems such an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting.

8.0 Executive Session

The Planning & Zoning Commission may go into executive session for purposes of obtaining legal advice from the City’s attorney on any of the above agenda items pursuant to A.R.S.§ 38-431.03 (A)(3).
