A 26-year-old Buckeye man was charged with causing a minor to engage in prostitution and aggravated assault after a 15-year-old prostitute alleged that he beat her up.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call from the 15-year-old girl at 2:30 a.m. June 6.

Deputies responded to the area of Ocotillo and Ranch Boulevard, San Tan Valley, to look for the girl.

When deputies located the girl, she was crying, extremely upset and wearing only underwear bottoms and a tank top.

The girl then told deputies, that her “pimp” had hit her so she jumped out of the vehicle he was driving.

Deputies asked her what happened and she explained she was a prostitute and her pimp was upset because she didn’t get the money from the client up front so he “hit her in the face.”

She said she was scared for her life, so she jumped out of the vehicle and ran and hid until she could call 911. The girl had a cut lip and abrasions to her chest and thighs.

The girl identified the suspect as Chad Walker of Buckeye. He is 6 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 300 pounds.

The girl said he was last seen driving a 2005 Cadillac STS and was headed toward the Motel 6 near Priest and Broadway in Tempe.

Deputies contacted the mother of the girl, who lives in Tucson. She stated she had already reported her daughter as a juvenile runaway to the Tucson Police Department.

The girl told deputies Walker arranges clients through the escort services section of www.backpage.com.

Walker was booked yesterday into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center. Additional charges are pending.
