Two holiday music programs will take place at Pima Butte Elementary School within the coming weeks. Concerts are free and open to the public.

Grades 3, 4 and 5 will perform on Tuesday, Dec. 9, starting at 6:30 p.m. Selections will include “Here We Come a Wassailing,” “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Feliz Navidad” and “Frosty the Snowman,” plus others.

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, starting at 6:30 p.m. grades K, 1 and 2 will perform “Must Be Santa,” “We Wish We Had Snow in Winter,” “I Saw Three Ships,” “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and other selections.

Each program should conclude by 7:30 p.m. The availability of parking in the school lot is expected to be at capacity quickly for each event. Pima Butte administration advises early arrival and safety, especially for those using Rancho El Dorado Parkway.

Student performers are advised to enter through the Pima Butte office doors and assemble in their assigned classrooms.

Audience members are asked to enter the auditorium through the exterior doors facing the parking lot.

Pima Butte will also be hosting Santa’s Dinner on Friday, Dec. 12, from 5-8 p.m. This is an event sponsored by the Pima Butte PTO. Limited tickets for Santa’s Dinner are still available. Adult (age 12 and up) ticket prices are $7 while children (age 11 and under) are $5.

Pima Butte’s PTO will also be staffing “Gift Avenue,” an annual fundraiser, during these three events.
