Pinal County has reopened the External Agency Fund application process for a third time. Funding for this extended period is provided through the county’s allocation of Community Development Block Grant – Coronavirus funding.

Projects should be to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus pandemic. Projects should also provide benefit for low- to moderate-income persons and special populations. The Board of Supervisors has indicated funding will be provided to nonprofit organizations addressing food insecurity.

The application process will be open Aug. 24 and close Sept. 18.

Supervisors invite nonprofit service providers to apply for fiscal year 2020-21 funding for specific projects or programs that provide measurable benefits to Pinal County residents and address the specified criteria.

The anticipated program year will be Oct. 1, 2020–Sept. 30, 2021.
