Efforts will be directed at detecting and arresting drivers impaired by alcohol and/or drugs.

Several officers with specialized training in DUI detection will be assigned to work enforcement details around the city of Maricopa

Law enforcement officers from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, Casa Grande, Coolidge and Eloy will work the patrols set to begin each night and run through the early morning hours.

Although .08 is over the “legal limit,” consuming any amount of alcohol or drugs that impair a person’s driving is considered being under the influence.
