Premier Orthodontics provides youth football mouthpieces

Premier Orthodontics wants to protect not only the teeth of its customers but also the teeth of football players.

In order to do this, the Maricopa-based business recently donated 50 custom-made mouthpieces to the Maricopa Youth Football team.

The teeth straightening specialists invited the members of the football team into their office nearly a week ago to take a mold of each member’s teeth. Those molds were then turned into custom, fitted mouthpieces.

Players were presented with their new mouth gear at practice last Friday.

“This was the first time we did this, but we hope to make it an annual event,” said Makayla Jacobs, an orthodontic assistant for the company.
