Rainy Monday, sunny week, lows in 30 for Maricopa

After a tempestuous start to the week, Maricopa’s weather will settle down into sunny days and colder temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny during the day with a high near 62. However, the night brings a 20-percent chance of showers and a low around 47.

Monday is forecast to be very wet, with cloudy skies and 50-percent chance of rain. The high will be near 62, and the winds will be 10-15 mph and gusting up to 20 mph. Rain is expected overnight as well, mainly before 11 p.m. The night’s low will be around 38 and the blustery wind will continue.

Tuesday will see the return of the sun, a high near 57 and winds at 5-10 mph. The night will be mostly clear with a low around 36.

Wednesday’s forecast sees sunny skies and a high near 57. The night time low will be around 36 with mostly clear skies.

Thursday will be sunny during the day with a high near 59. The overnight low will be around 38.

Friday also expects sunny skies and a bit warmer temperatures, with the high climbing to 63. The night will be mostly clear with a low around 39.

From this distance, Saturday’s forecast also calls for a sunny day.
