On December 29, a man reportedly pointed a handgun at his girlfriend during an argument in their apartment on West Shea Way.
The suspect, Michael T. Reusze, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
The victim told police that she and Reusze had an argument, which she had recorded, and that he had pointed a gun at her.
The victim gave police the footage, which showed Reusze sitting on the couch and yelling at the victim to apologize.
According to police documents, the footage showed Reusze then yelling “I’m going to jail today.”
Reusze proceeded to walk into the kitchen, near the victim, and grabbed a handgun from the top of the refrigerator and racked the slide to load a round into the chamber.
Reusze then appeared to point the handgun at the victim from about one foot away.
The footage cuts out briefly and Reusze was seen walking away from the victim and appeared to be unloading the handgun.
Sometime after the incident, police listened when Reusze called the victim and told her that she caused him to do something he never believed he was capable of doing.
During the call, Reusze blamed the victim for causing him to lose his sanity and “freak the f*** out.”
