A rolled-over semi truck hauling garbage is causing delays for those travelling State Route 238 on Monday. The truck rolled just east of North Ralston Road, spilling garbage alongside the road, Maricopa Police reported in a Facebook post.

As the clean-up of the accident continued, the road was reopened.

The truck was on the north side of State Route 238, facing west, on its side with a trail of trash along the roadway.

According to the post, the semi was the only vehicle involved. The driver was not injured.

A Maricopa Police official stated that no citations have been issued and the cause of the accident is unknown.

The official said that cleanup would take “several hours.” The road was reopened while the mess was being cleaned up by the company involved.
