Developers today confirmed Maricopa’s second Taco Bell is expected to break ground in the coming days and open early next year.

Earlier this year, InMaricopa announced the Tex-Mex drive-thru would open its second restaurant at 42080 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway. The first location is on the John Wayne strip near Bashas’.

“The anticipated finish date for construction is March,” Baldwin said, “I’m sure opening shortly thereafter, possibly April.”

The city’s second Taco Bell is among several businesses coming to The Wells shopping center, including Slim ChickensBosa DonutsTractor Supply Co.Home Depot and a second Burger King
