A corvette crash this morning on northbound John Wayne Parkway caused the closure of the right two lanes as officials worked to document and clear the scene.
The wreck occurred right across the street from Exceptional Care Hospital, just before the overpass.
The Maricopa Police Department posted a warning on their facebook page that said:
“Please be advised, due to a serious traffic incident, only one northbound lane on SR 347 north of Honeycutt Ave is open (the two right lanes are currently closed). Please try to avoid this area until the incident has been cleared.”
The two lanes were reopened a little after 1 p.m. Tuesday after officials had completed their investigation into the crash.
