State Route 238 west of Maricopa has reopened, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The highway had been completely closed from State Route 347 to Gila Bend since about 5 p.m. Wednesday due to flooding at milepost 41 near Ralston Road.
Motorists had been forced to seek alternate routes during the 19-hour closure.
Motorists can get real time highway conditions on ADOT’s Arizona Traveler Information site at az511.gov, by calling 511, downloading the AZ 511 app and through ADOT’s Twitter feed, @ArizonaDOT.
