State Route 238 closures set this week

State Route 238 closures are planned to begin in the overnight hours Wednesday and Thursday near Mobile.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the following closures for pavement maintenance:

• Eastbound SR 238 will be closed between milepost 24 and milepost 32 (91st Avenue) from 3 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. A flagging crew will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone one direction at a time. Please allow extra travel time.

• Westbound SR 238 will be closed between milepost 32 (91st Avenue) and milepost 24 from 3 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday. A flagging crew will direct traffic one direction at a time. Please allow extra travel time.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
