The sunny days in the mid 70s are expected to carry through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, the weekend should see sunny days with high temperatures between 75 and 78 degrees. Higher winds are expected to pick up through the weekend with gusts reaching as high as 20 mph.

The forecast for Saturday calls for sunny skies with a high near 78 degrees. The wind is expected to stay near 15 mph throughout the day, but gusts could reach up to 20 mph toward the afternoon. Wind gusts should calm to 10 mph overnight, and the overnight low is expected to reach 48 degrees.

Sunday is projected to be mostly sunny with a high near 75 degrees. The wind is expected to steadily increase through the morning and afternoon. Gusts are expected to remain steady at 10 mph, but gusts could reach as high as 20 mph in the afternoon.

According to the NWS, the wind should calm to 5 mph overnight and the temperature should drop to 46 degrees.

As the new week approaches, temperatures should remain in the mid 70s until possible storms blow in on Wednesday. More information will be available as the weekend comes to a close.
