A warm weekend flirting with 90 degrees is in store for Maricopa with sunny skies dominating into next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Today, the high is expected to be near 88 degrees F. The overnight low will be around 52.

Friday, the forecast calls for sun, breeze and a high near 87. Winds could gust up to 25 mph in the afternoon. The night is expected to be mostly clear and breezy with a low around 51.

Saturday will cool a bit, with the high temperature near 81 under sunny skies. The nighttime low will be around 53

Sunday has an expected high of 86 during another sunny day. The night will likely be partly cloudy with a low around 56.

Next week is expected to stay in the high 80s during the day and edge toward 90 by midweek.
