Suspect sought in Circle K robbery

The Maricopa Police Department is seeking a male suspect in connection with a robbery at about 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Circle K 19864 N. John Wayne Parkway near the Maricopa Manor Business Center.

None of the employees was harmed, said Officer Ricardo Alvarado, MPD public information officer.

Although the suspect indicated he was carrying a weapon, no weapon was displayed.

The suspect wore a gray bandana over his face.

The age and race of the man are unknown, but the suspect is described at 6 feet and weighing 165 to 175 pounds. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, a tan ball cap with a tan bill, gray/blue stone-washed jeans with green cut-off shorts or sweat pants over his jeans and black work shoes.
