Maricopa temporarily adopts the nickname “the Windy City” this week. Ok, maybe not officially, but as mostly clear skies accompany a constant barrage of heavy winds, temperatures will likely stay out of the triple digits in Maricopa, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday should be sunny and a bit breezy with winds gusting up to 30 mph as the temperature reaches a high of around 94 during the day and a low of near 64 at night

Tuesday is likely to be a little cloudy and slightly cooler as winds continue to gust up to 30 mph keeping the high around 87 and the low near 59.

Wednesday is forecast to clear up a bit while winds gust up to 20 mph and the temperatures stay down around 89 during the day and near 62 at night

Thursday should see winds persist, gusting up to 25 mph while temperatures rise to around 93 during the day and fall to near 64 at night.

Friday will likely be mostly clear and somewhat windy, gusting up to 40 mph as the high stays down around 86 during the day and near 54 at night.

Break out the swimming gear Maricopa, it’s warming up! As skies remain blue and mostly clear, the first 100-degree day will likely arrive over the weekend, according to reports from the National Weather Service.

Friday should be calm, clear and sunny with a high around 94 during the day and a low near 61 at night.

Saturday temperatures will likely continue to rise during the day reaching a high around 97 but cooling down a bit to near 64 at night.

Sunday, the dial is predicted to touch the 100 mark during the day, however it is expected to cool off to around 64 at night as a bit of a breeze moves in, gusting up to 20 mph.

Temperatures will break into the low 90s early this week in Maricopa while skies remain clear throughout and a light to heavy breeze moves in midweek and kicks temperatures back down into the high 80s, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday will is forecast to be sunny with a high around 90 during the day dropping to a low near 62 at night as winds pick up to about 15 mph.

Tuesday looks to also be sunny and a bit breezy with an elevated temperature around 93 during the day time and a low near 62 at while winds blow between 10-20 mph throughout the day.

Wednesday should again be sunny and breezy with a high near 89 during the day and a low around 59 at night while winds blow 5-15 mph throughout the day and night.

Thursday is likely to also be sunny with a bit heavier winds gusting up to 25 mph while high temperatures are expected to hit around 89 during the day and near 58 at night.

Friday, too, should be sunny and a bit breezy with a high around 90 during the day while winds gust from 10-25 mph, and a low near 58 at night while winds continue to blow up to 20 mph.

Tuesday should be clear and calm with a daytime high around 88, cooling down to a low of around 60 at night as a few clouds roll in.

Wednesday is likely to be cloudy with a high around 82 during the day and a low near 55 at night. A 10 percent chance of rain starting late in the morning should increase to around 60 percent in the evening, and a light breeze of around 15 mph will increase throughout the day gusting up to 25 mph at night.

Thursday should be sunny but cool and windy with a 10 percent chance of rain, a high around 72 during the day and a low of 48 at night, with steady winds blowing at 15 mph and gusting up to 25.

As the week rolls on, overcast skies will give way to warmer temperatures according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight will be clear and calm with a low temperature of 44 degrees.

Tuesday will see a high near 74 during the day with a light breeze from the west keeping the temperature down, while the evening breeze will shift northerly allowing temperatures to drop to around 50.

Wednesday, too, is predicted to be clear and calm with a high temperature of around 82 during the day and a low near 53 at night.

Thursday is also likely to be sunny and calm with a high near 84 around midday and a low of 56 at night.

Sunshine and moderate temperatures will continue to grace Maricopa throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service, though light cloud cover moving in on Sunday could bring with it a heavy breeze.

Tonight will be clear with a low near 48.

Saturday will also be sunny and clear with a daytime high of around 79 and a nightly low of 52.

After a wet weekend the skies over Maricopa will clear up over the coming week with breezy moderate to cool temperatures, according to reports by the National Weather Service.

Monday – Presidents Day – will be sunny with light cloud cover, a high temperature around 67 degrees during the day and a low of 49 at night.

Tuesday will also be sunny with a high around 74 during the day and a light cloud cover that will move in during the early evening making for a low of around 53 at night.

Wednesday will again be clear and sunny with a high of 77 during the day and a 15mph breeze out of the southeast which will later turn westerly and continue into the evening dropping the temperature to a low of 50.

Thursday will again see clear skies and a light wind from the west, gusting up to 20mph, making for a high temperature of only 65 while winds calm in the evening and temperatures dropping to a low of 42 degrees.

Clouds and wind moving in could indicate a wet weekend for Maricopa, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will be mostly cloudy throughout the day with a high temperature around 72 degrees and steady winds from 15 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. Overnight the breeze will continue and the temperature will drop to a low of 56 degrees with a 30 percent chance of rain after 11 p.m.

Saturday will remain breezy with winds gusting up to 35 mph out of the southeast, bringing an 80-percent chance of rain. With the same chance of rain and moderate winds continuing throughout the night, temperatures will dip to around 51 degrees.

Sunday will see the winds beginning to die down while skies remain cloudy with a 50-percent chance of precipitation and a high of around 62 degrees. Chances of rain drop to around 20 percent in the evening with a predicted low near 48 degrees.

A small chance of showers over the weekend will give way to sunny days and moderate temperatures Monday that will carry on through the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday will see a high of around 77 and a low of 51 with a 10 percent chance of rain after 11 a.m. that increases to 30 percent in the evening.

Sunday also has a chance of rain, 40 percent on and off throughout the day, with a high near 70 and a low at night of around 47.

Monday skies clear up some, but could still see a continuation of showers, 20 percent chance, in the early part of the day with a high of around 70 and an evening low near 45

Tuesday will be sunny with a high around 72 and a low of 45 at a night.

Wednesday will also be sunny with a high of 73 and nightly low of 47.

Thursday will see a continuation of sunny skies and a high of 76.
