An oversized tanker truck slowed traffic along John Wayne Parkway southbound today a little after lunch time. The oversized load took up nearly two lanes and required the police to lift up the traffic lights at the intersection of Smith Enke and State Road 347. The freight was large enough to where an additional truck was needed to help push the massive load down the road. The police also supplied an escort.
