The City of Maricopa is expanding its ‘Keep Maricopa Beautiful’

The City of Maricopa is expanding its “Keep Maricopa Beautiful” anti-littering and anti-dumping efforts by seeking partnerships with area businesses, food trucks and organizations.

Businesses pledge to follow a few simple guidelines, such as keeping their trash receptacles clean and picking up litter in parking stalls visible from their business. In exchange, they receive a business partnership cleaning kit, ‘Keep Maricopa Beautiful’ window cling to display and will be given a shoutout on City social media outlets as well as listed on the www.keepmaricopabeautiful.com website. The partnership is in its infancy, but the city is thrilled to have six businesses already onboard, including InMaricopa.

Efforts are not limited to just businesses; the City also hosts quarterly community cleanups for residents. The next quarterly cleanup is this Saturday, April 30. Click here for more information and to register.
