The tax man is coming and Maricopans are ready

There are only two certainties in life: death and taxes.

It appears that Maricopans are ready for at least one of those eventualities.

According to our weekly poll, which garnered 155 responses from March 25 to April 1, the majority of readers, 57%, have already filed their tax returns this year. Another 2% are planning to file by the April 18 deadline.  

Then it gets interesting. 

Nine percent of Maricopans said they do not file tax returns, while the procrastinators in town who say an extension is inevitable come in at 6%.
