The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce will soon have its first office as well as its first Executive Director. Theresa “Terri” Kingery will be starting work on Monday, October 16, in that position.

Terri brings a strong financial background to the Chamber, after serving two years as Director of Finance and Administration for the Tempe-based Arizona Technology Council.

Before moving to Maricopa in 2005 with husband Jim and son Colton, Terri lived in the Los Angeles area and worked in the entertainment industry for eight years as controller/ office manager for a large post-production company. Her energy and enthusiasm served her well in that fast-paced environment.

Since moving here, she has found a renewed passion for her community and envisions a thriving, self-sustaining Maricopa of the future. Accepting the executive director position, Kingery told Chamber members, “This is your Chamber; I’m just here to facilitate it.”
