Maricopans should be seeing a lot of the sun this week.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday’s clouds should mostly drift off and temperatures rise to the still-cool mid-70s. Today’s high will be near 77 degrees. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies and a low around 54.

Tuesday will begin a three-day warm-up before a cool-down ahead of the next Pacific storm. The high Tuesday will be near 82, with light and variable wind at 5-10 mph in the morning. The overnight low will be around 57.

Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 86, and skies will remain mostly clear overnight as the low drops to 58.

Thursday is forecast to be sunny, too, and the high is expected to be about 89. Winds are forecast to be 10-20 mph with 20-mph gusts. The nighttime low is expected to be about 57 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny, but the temperature will drop. The high is expected to be 78 and the winds will grow stronger into the afternoon. At night, there is a 20-percent chance of showers, with a low about 50.
