After possible rain this afternoon, the rest of the week looks mostly sunny for Maricopa.

Today and tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Today’s high is expected by be just 100 degrees with light winds out of the west at 5-10 mph. The overnight low is forecast to be around 78.

Tuesday, skies will be sunny with a high near 101. There will be partly cloudy skies at night, and the low will be around 77.

Wednesday, expect sunny skies again and a high of 102 and little wind. Overnight, skies will be mostly clear and the low will be 78.

Thursday, the forecast calls for more sun and a high near 104. Skies will continue mostly clear through the night with a low around 79.

Friday, there will be mostly sunny skies and a high of 102. The night will be partly cloudy, and the low will be around 79.

The weekend, at this point, looks like more of the same with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures just over 100.
