Tony Smith hosts town hall Saturday

Pinal County Supervisors Anthony Smith will host a special town hall event for Maricopa Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at Maricopa City Hall, 39700 W. Civic Center Plaza.

"I am looking forward to these town halls," Smith said. "The senators and representatives will be on hand to share some of their insights on what the upcoming legislative session will bring and to take questions as well."

Legislators who are scheduled attend from District 11 are State Sen. Steve Smith and Reps. Vince Leach and Mark Finchem. Some county officials will be on hand as well to answer questions from attendees.

"I think it is important for everyone to hear from our representatives and county officials on how the state works with Pinal County and its communities to prosper even in tough economic times," Smith said.
