Trax Café, Pizza Hut now serving Maricopians

Business is booming, and Maricopa is no exception. On both sides of John
Wayne Parkway are new businesses that have opened in the past few weeks.

No more drumming your fingers on the steering wheel as you wait for that train to pass through – take a break and pull into Trax Café for a quick and tasty brew! Early morning commuters will be thrilled with top-quality roasted coffees and drive-through convenience. Owner Jodi Jaffe is proud to use the freshest ingredients, including Arizona-roasted beans and double-filtered water. “We’ve done a lot of research to find the best quality, and we’re very consistent,” Jaffe noted. “We know our customers, down to how many cream and sugars they want!”

The new café serves delicious, hot “Egg-Copa” sandwiches on English muffins, in addition to yogurt granola parfaits, smoothies and a few other breakfast items. Sandwiches will hit the menu later this month. The café opens at 6 a.m.

Want to know where to take the kids but still enjoy adult food, too? Check out the new Pizza Hut/Wing Street with groovy, contemporary art and simple decor. In addition to their new location in Maricopa, Brent Kyte and his son, Trevor, own several locations in the Valley. “Our goal is to make it a family-friendly place… we’ll host family nights where kids can have their faces painted and enjoy a balloon lady,” Trevor said. They boast an expanded menu serving a wide variety of sandwiches as well as their popular wings. General Manager Keith Banse is excited about serving this community and has worked hard to offer great customer service.
