The Maricopa Police Department said it is investigating eight cases of vandalism that were reported early Monday morning in Rancho El Dorado.

MPD Spokesman Ricardo Alvarado said there are no suspects identified yet.

“Somebody spray painted vehicles with gold and purple paint and wrote ‘Quin Ham was here,’ but we can’t find anybody with that name listed in our system,” Alvarado said.

The first report of vandalism was made around 4 a.m. on Baker Drive, where vehicles, concrete and a garage door were spray painted. Alvarado said multiple calls were made to MPD reporting similar damage throughout the morning in Rancho El Dorado.

Alvarado said MPD believes the eight cases are related based on the consistencies of spray paint and the suspect’s “modus operandi” described in reports.
