Thanksgiving week is expected to see temperatures reach near the 80s before cooling down to the mid 60s by Thanksgiving Day.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday and Tuesday should see sunny skies with temperature highs near 80 degrees. The warm trend should start to fade out on Wednesday, though, as temperatures are expected to consistently drop each day until the weekend.

Monday and Tuesday are expected to be nearly identical days. The forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 79 degrees. For both days, the wind is expected to remain calm near 5 mph and blow in from the east. Monday’s overnight low is expected to drop to 45 degrees while Tuesday should see a smaller drop to 52 degrees.

Wednesday, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 72 degrees. The wind is expected to stay near 5 mph, but gusts of 10 mph could be frequent throughout the day. The overnight low is expected to drop to a cool 42 degrees.

For those hoping to spend some time outside on Thanksgiving Day, a jacket may be a good item to keep handy. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 66 degrees. The wind should remain calm near 5 mph throughout the day, but gusts could reach 10 mph on occasion.

Residents looking to take advantage of Black Friday deals should bundle up as the overnight low is expected to drop to 37 degrees. Friday temperatures will warm up to 66 degrees throughout the day, but Friday night is also expected to drop near 37 degrees.

The weekend forecast is expected to remain cool, but more information will be available after Thanksgiving.
