Weekend forecast ‘cooler’ with chance of rain

Maricopa’s weekend weather is expected to become a little cooler than recent weeks and even drop below the normal high of 105, according to the National Weather Service.

Today is mostly sunny with a forecast high of 107. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 83. A high-pollution advisory remains in effect in Pinal County.

Friday will likely be partly sunny with a high near 106. Clouds will move in during the evening, bringing a 20-percent chance of rain after midnight and low around 82.

Saturday‘s high will be near 101 under mostly sunny skies. The 20-percent chance of precipitation returns in the evening as the low drops to around 80.

Sunday has a 20-percent chance of rain during the day and an expected high of 101. The evening will be mostly clear with a low around 80.

Next week, daily high temperatures will climb back over 105 under clear skies.
