Maricopa will debut a Senior Expo on Saturday morning at City Hall.

TUESDAY
Coffee with Friends of the Maricopa Library starts at 1:30 p.m. at the library. Meet every Tuesday for refreshments and conversation and get acquainted with the library. All ages welcome.

Maricopa Youth Council meets at 6 p.m. in Copper Sky’s multipurpose room A to talk about upcoming events.

WEDNESDAY
Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board meets at 6:30 at the district office. The agenda includes an academic update from Desert Wind Middle School, reviews of board evaluations, protocol and goal (as well as election of a president and vice president of the board for 2016), contracts for exterior lighting and remodeling the high school front office and personnel issues.

THURSDAY
Monthly Chamber Breakfast is at 7 a.m. in Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Ballroom. Board election results will be announced and there will be a Year in Review.

Maricopa General Plan Open House is set for 10 a.m. and again at 5 p.m. at City Hall. See the first draft and give your feedback.

SATURDAY
Senior Information Expo & Health Fair debuts at City Hall at 9 a.m. Attendees will have access to valuable resources and services in Maricopa, including the You Are Not Alone program.
