A Ray of Hope meeting of Narcotics Anonymous is at 7 p.m. at Maricopa Chamber of Commerce Office.

MONDAY

Maricopa Planning & Zoning Commission meet in council chambers at City Hall at 6 p.m. The agenda includes Final Discussion: Section I. Introduction; Section II. A. Growth Area Element & B. Land Use Element, and; Section III. General Plan Implementation

A Ray of Hope meeting of Narcotics Anonymous is at 7 p.m. at Maricopa Community Church.

TUESDAY

Coffee with Friends of the Maricopa Library starts at 1:30 p.m. at Maricopa Public Library. Meet every Tuesday for refreshments and conversation and get acquainted with the library. All ages welcome.

Grand Opening of City Maintenance Facility is at 5 p.m. at the newly finished building at 45695-B W. Edison Road.

Maricopa Youth Council meets at 6 p.m. at Copper Sky. The agenda includes Final Discussion: Summary of youth specific and youth related highlights of the General Plan Draft #1

WEDNESDAY

Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board meets at 6:30 p.m. The agenda includes an academic update from Maricopa High School, personnel requests and next school year’ calendar. Also on the agenda is a compensation plan for classified employees – a followup to last year’s plan for certified staff.

THURSDAY

Heritage District Advisory Committee meet at 5:30 at the Copa Center. The agenda includes Final Discussion: Section II.B3.a Heritage District Redevelopment Area, and related provisions impacting the Heritage District.

Leading Edge Academy Enrollment Open House starts at 6 p.m. with its Kindergarten Round-Up, followed by grades 1-8 at 6:45 p.m.

FRIDAY

Opening Day for Maricopa Little League’s T-ball, Challenger, Machine-pitch and Coach Pitch teams is at Pacana Park.

2nd Saturday Maricopa Market is from 8 to 11 a.m. at Copper Sky Regional Park.

Coffee with the Chief is from 8-9 a.m. and introduces the new substaton at Copper Sky. Meet in the facility’s training room.

Our Lady of Grace Dedication Mass is at noon at the new building on Santi Road. Access the property also off Adam’s Way.
