An InMaricopa Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday had Maricopans finding more than 150 plastic, 8-inch eggs stuffed with goodies from local businesses. Several participants qualified for a drawing for extra prizes.

Karen Casady Rowell was the grand prize winner, earning one year of free broadband Internet service from Orbitel. She also won a package of a shirt, Popsocket and two Firehouse Subs sandwiches from Heritage Academy.

Robin Channell-Delgado won a three-month membership to Anytime Fitness.

Glen Hale (and his driver’s ed students) won a $25 gift card from Fry’s Food Stores.

Josh Barrett won a package of a shirt, Popsocket and two Freddy’s combos from Heritage Academy.

Jackie Parkin won a $20 UltraStar Multi-tainment Center gift cart from HomeSmart Success’s Brian Petersheim.

Sue Pruitt Cottrell won a $20 Yogurt Jungle gift card from HomeSmart Success’s Brian Petersheim.

Mary King won a package of a refillable soda cup, popcorn card and two free tickets from UltraStar Multi-tainment Center.

The hunt, run as popup event, was announced on social media Friday night after most eggs were “hidden” all over town in residential and business locations. Reminders were posted Saturday morning, the remaining eggs were placed, and all eggs were found by 3 p.m.
