An argument at a Sorrento home turned physical on Monday night, after a woman reportedly bit a man and then hit him with a children’s chair, officers said.

Ariadna Espinoza, 32, was arrested and booked into Pinal County jail on suspicion of aggravated assault (domestic violence) and disorderly conduct, according to Maricopa police.

At about 9 p.m., police responded to a call of a disagreement at a home on West Maddaloni Avenue in Sorrento.

According to a probable-cause statement, Espinoza was intoxicated and got into an argument with a man in the household.

The man and a child reportedly left the home and went for walk. When they returned, Espinoza reportedly started to yell at the man, grabbed the child by the shirt and tried to pull the child away.

The man tried to move the child away from Espinoza, who fell to the ground and reportedly bit the man’s left thigh, police said.

According to Maricopa police, the man got all the children in the home into a bedroom. Espinoza reportedly continued arguing with the man and hit him in the face.

When the man tried to leave, Espinoza picked up a children’s chair and hit him in the arm, breaking the chair, officers said.
